Hi! I'm Fireflower's Charizard, Volcano. Welcome to Fire Flight! This is my minishrine to the Char family. Enjoy!

Charmander

Quoth Fireflower, "Charmander is just a very kawaii, chibi Charizard. He's so so so so kawaii! I mean, he's so totally kawaii! I mean, he's very very very very very very..*this goes on for a while* cyute!!"

Element: Fire

Type: Lizard

Group: Monster/Dragon

Special Attack: Ember

Anime: Charmander's made many appearances on the Pokemon anime. First is "Charmander: the stray Pokemon" in which Ash and the others find a little Charmander on arock, waiting for its trainer. They find out that the trainer is man called Damien who only cares about the strength of Pokemon, but hates to train them. Because Charmander wasn't as strong as his other pokemon, he abandoned it on a rock, saying he would come back for it. Needless to say, he didn't. What a jerk! What a total craphead! I bet I could whup his pokemon with my wings tied. Um, Ash gets Charmander at the end, after Charmander blowtorches Damien. Boo-YA!! Fireflower thinks Brock should've gotten Charmander, and I agree, but I wouldn't care if even Misty got him, just as long as he appeared a lot.

Manga: Charmander's appeared in all 3 mangas! Yay! In Pokemon, Charmander appears in 2 issues, Pikachu's Excellent Adventure and You Gotta have Friends. In Pikachu's Excellent Adventure, Pikachu meets up with a sarcastic, mean Squirtle (Squirtle: *smirk* So you've been dumped, huh? Pikachu: *angry* Wutcha smiling about, buddy?!) and they find an abandoned Charmander. Pikachu, Squirtle and Charmander go on a journey searching for the mystical Pokemon Garden, and they find Damien and he and Charmander have a heartfelt reunion that makes even Squirtle cry. ::sobs:: It was so..so beautiful.. Um, in Ya Gotta have Friends, Ash sends out all of his Pokemon except Pikachu, because he and Pikachu are having a fight. For reasons unexplained, his pokemon act hostilely toward him, attack him viciously. Charmander finishes off the attacks with a flamethrower in Ash's face. Um..joy? In Pokemon Adventures, Charmander plays a bad Pokemon, attacking a Kangaskahn with an injured baby over and over. It ends with Poliwhirl blasting the poor little guy, causing him to cry "CHAA-PII!" and fainting. He evolves by the next issue, Onix Attacks! Finally, in Magical Pokemon Journey, theres a dude called Peanut who has a Charmander. Charmander is really tough, and Peanut is..well, he's a loser. They love each other and all, but Charmander wants a good trainer. SO Pikachu and Clefairy go searching for the Tree of Strength to make Peanut strong. Charmander and Peanut become regular characters.

Charmeleon!

Quoth Fireflower: "Charmeleon is one of my favorites. I call him the Ninja of Flames. I mean, just take a look at that pic! Can't you just imagine him in Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon?"

Element: Fire

Type: Lizard

Group: Monster/Dragon

Special Attack: Flamethrower

Anime: Charmeleon appeared in a precious few eps. In "March of the Exxegutor Squad," Charmander plays the hero and blasts a bunch of brainwashed Exxegutors, resulting in him evolving. That's when CHarmeleon's bad relationship with Ash begins. As soon as he evolves, Charmeleon torches Ash's ear. In "Problems with Paras," Charmeleon nearly KILLS a little Paras but eventually gets beaten by Parasect. Meleon continues to be the bad guy, disobeying Ash more in "The GReat Fossil Hunt", even when his trainer's life is in danger. Charmeleon evolves in that ep, so we never get to see his good side.

Manga: Man, Charmeleon gets a bad rap wherever he goes!! He only appears in Pokemon Adventures for like three issues. In Onix Attacks, he, um, blows fire at an unseen opponent. In Pokemon Mixup, Charmeleon bites Red, and..thats 'bout it. Finally, when Red goes to a Pokemon graveyard, Blue orders his Charmeleon to attack an Arbok and proceeds to, uh, cut it in half. In other words, he's seen as the baddie again. Dang.

Charizard!!

Quoth Fireflower: "CHARIZARD ROCKS!!"

Element: Fire/Flying

Type: Lizard

Group: Monster/Dragon

Special Attack: Firespin

Anime: Charizard's appeared in quite a few anime eps. In fact, too many to list. Basically, he disobeys Ash the whole time. In "Charizard Chills," Charizard finally learns to obey Ash and whups on a Poliwrath. A funny moment in the anime was when Ash was battling Casey and used Charizard. Casey used Ratata. Ratata attacked Charizard, hit its stomach, and fainted. Then Casey used Pidgey, and Charizard, erm, breathed on it and it fainted. ^_^ Yay Charizard! In Charizard's Fire (which they didn't air in America for some FECKED UP REASON) Charizard goes away to live with...a female Charizard. Oookay.

Manga: Charizard shapes up a bit in the manga..in "Pokemon," Charizard makes a very cool appearance and rips apart Richie's Charizard. Dragon Duel!! ::grins:: In Pokemon Adventures, Blue's Charizard is finally put into a favorable light when he rescues BLue and Red from being frozen forevor. YAY!!

I hope you enjoyed Fire Flight!
